Shortlist Proponents Announced
Campus Redevelopment Project reached a critical milestone today with the announcement of the three proponents shortlisted following the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to design, build, finance and maintain the new state–of–the–art campus at Great Northern Way.
Eight national and international teams responded to the RFQ to design, build, finance and maintain the new Emily Carr University of Art + Design. After a thorough evaluation of the submissions against the criteria outlined in the RFQ, three teams were shortlisted. In alphabetical order, they are:

A request for proposals (RFP) will be issued to the three teams in Fall 2013 and Emily Carr will award the contract in the Summer 2014. Construction will begin in the early Fall of 2014 and the new university campus is expected to be completed in 2016. View the media release.
