Welcome to Emily Carr University of Art + Design, a place where BIG IDEAS come to life. We all have them: imaginings, dreams, ideas. Thoughts filled with the concept of ‘what could be’.
Here at Emily Carr we believe in pursuing these dreams and making them reality. We see this happening everyday in our students and in our alumni. They are proof that BIG IDEAs turn into real projects, websites, paintings, and businesses that impact our community, our lives and our future.
Our goal is to support these students as they work to change and enrich our world. Our BIG IDEA is that creativity can change the world. Join us as we dream, imagine and pursue these BIG IDEAS.
On Friday, May 2nd, Emily Carr University hosted Vancouver’s most notable philanthropists and creative economy leaders for a spectacular evening celebrating creativity, our greatest natural resource! Our University’s purpose is to transform creativity in art, design and media into an infinite spectrum of possibilities for our culture as well as for our economy. With such an ambitious mandate, the University has numerous contributors to recognize and thank for their ongoing support.
