Tuition + Fees
Tuition fees are based on your registration each semester. Additionally, you will also be required to pay mandatory fees that will automatically be included in your balance due amount which you can check on insideEC after your registration is complete. Payment options
Emily Carr students can make payments via online, telephone banking, or in-person at the Financial Services Office on the second floor of the North Building.

Student Loans
BC Students
StudentAidBC is a needs‑based assistance program that combines federal and provincial funds for Canadian students. The amount of assistance that students are eligible for is based upon their financial situation and sometimes that of their family.
Students from other Canadian Provinces
For Canadian students who have not fulfilled BC residency requirements, but who wish to apply for student loans, please contact your appropriate home province for full information.
Part-time Students
Students who are studying part-time in a degree or diploma program may be eligible to apply for the federal part-time loan program, along with specified grants, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

US Students
American citizens are eligible to apply for the following types of Stafford Loan funding through the Direct Loan Program: Subsidized Stafford Loans, Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, PLUS Loans and PLUS Graduate Loans.
